The Entire Internet Is Tripping Out Over Viral Diego Pavia Report

A parody report about former Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia left plenty of football fans fooled after going viral on social media. 

The post claims Pavia plans to return to college football for another season after a federal judge supposedly restored his eligibility. 

It attributes the report to “Pete Nokos,” a parody account modeled after On3 college football reporter Pete Nakos.

The account itself, No3 Sports, is a parody version of On3.

Pavia signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft. The team waived him right before training camp. 

Comments Make It Clear That Fans Thought Diego Pavia Was Actually Returning To College

Despite originating from obvious parody accounts, the post generated several reactions from users who appeared to believe it.

“He’s toast,” said a fan. “Burned a lot of bridges with his post-Heisman behavior.”

Another added, “Nothing screams ‘I cant compete in the NFL because im not good enough’ like graduating college then returning for a fifth season of football.”

A third questioned the claim, writing, “That has to be a joke right? You can’t sign with and practice in the NFL and come back to college!”

Another joked, “And what if no major school wants him? That would be even funnier.”

One user eventually pointed out … “This is a parody account as is the Pete N. acct.”

Trust, but verify clearly isn’t a thing on social media.
