A young football fan is going viral after pulling off one of the most remarkable displays of NFL knowledge fans have ever seen.
The feat occurred on the opening day of Play By Play Sports Broadcasting Camp in New Jersey and New York City. Camp director Adam Giardino shared a clip on social media after witnessing it in person.
According to Giardino, the camper claimed he could recall the schedule and result of every NFL team dating back to the 2009 season.
To put that claim to the test, another camper randomly selected the 2014 season while a different camper picked the Oakland Raiders.
With his back turned to the screen, the young fan proceeded to recite the Raiders‘ entire schedule from memory. He even remembered the team’s bye week before continuing through the rest of the season. The crowd of roughly 120 campers cheered as he worked through each opponent and result.
You can see him go through a segment of the feat in the video below:
“Amazing. Would love to see more of this,” one fan commented.

NFL Fan Sets The Tone For Camp With Impressive Recollection

The 2014 Raiders finished 3-13 under first-year head coach Tony Sparano, who took over on an interim basis after Dennis Allen was fired four games into the season. Rookie quarterback Derek Carr started all 16 games and threw for 3,270 yards with 21 touchdown passes during his first NFL campaign.
Play By Play Sports Broadcasting Camp has operated for more than two decades and gives aspiring broadcasters hands-on experience with sports media. Campers take part in broadcasting exercises, podcasts, play-by-play calls and interviews while learning from current television and radio personalities.
As for the young fan, he may have stolen the show before the camp had barely gotten underway.
Reciting one team’s entire schedule from memory would impress most football fans. Doing it for every NFL team since 2009 is on another level.
Of course, he’s yet to prove that, but we have to take his word for it after this.
