Harrison Mevis might be having the worst week of anybody in the NFL.

The Los Angeles Rams officially cut him from the roster due to poor on-field production and costly missed field goals. He was the sole reason the team lost its Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills.

The roster move came less than 24 hours after a heartbreaking 37-34 overtime loss. In that game, Mevis missed a 50-yard field-goal attempt in the first quarter. Even more damaging, the Buffalo defense blocked his potential 48-yard game-winning field goal attempt in overtime.

Consequently, social media decided to make things even worse.

Immediately after the Rams cut Harrison Mevis, internet users investigated the kicker’s Instagram following list. Fans quickly noticed the vast majority of the people he follows were Instagram models and adult creators.

Now, his week is getting so much worse. Messages from Instagram show that Harrison Mevis had been jumping in the DMs of at least two different women.

One of them showed him asking why he was unfollowed, with no response from the person. A second screenshot showed him waving and then adding a fire emoji to a picture of several women.

Following his sudden release from Los Angeles, Harrison Mevis immediately enters the NFL free agent market. The young specialist will clear the league’s waiver wire before becoming completely free to sign with any franchise.

With his bad play on the field, not many teams will be scrambling to sign him.
