Tom Brady secured a rare collectible tied to his team. The Las Vegas Raiders part-owner purchased a one-of-one Fernando Mendoza rookie card. Business partner Chris Costa called the price life-altering for most people.
Mendoza went first overall to Las Vegas in the 2026 NFL Draft. The card features his first NFL autograph from a Topps series. Players signed “My 1st NFL Auto” on the items shortly after selection.

Brady’s ownership stake and collecting passion drove the move. He has advised Mendoza during the rookie’s early development. He was spotted watching the 2026 College Football Championship game in Miami, where Mendoza led the Indiana Hoosiers to their first national title. The seven-time Super Bowl champion sees strong potential in the young quarterback.
