This sudden corporate cancellation comes directly on the heels of his high-profile arrest on Thursday evening. Furthermore, law enforcement officers took him into custody for operating a vehicle while intoxicated in Milwaukee County. Romo signed a massive, record-breaking contract extension with CBS Sports in February 2020. The deal is worth $17 million per year over 10 years, totaling $180 million, to remain the network’s lead NFL game analyst alongside Jim Nantz.
