Cleveland Browns undrafted free agent Adin Huntington left the game against the Miami Dolphins to be evaluated for a concussion. Huntington has become an integral part of the team’s soul since arriving in Berea.

The Browns list the rookie as a defensive tackle, but his real job is football. He’s turned into a special team’s ace, an extra blocker on offense, while flashing on defense. Huntington contributes to the Browns in every phase of the game.  He’s a physical player with an unrivaled engine. The Browns will feel his absence throughout the game. Huntington has been ruled out with a concussion.

The Browns must find creative ways to replace Huntington. The Browns are using backup center Luke Wypler a lot in their heavy packages on offense. Wypler has been a solid blocker for the Browns, but needs to bring more juice to the offense. The Browns are really struggling to replace Huntington on special teams. They don’t have a player on the roster who can mimic his energy and determination on coverage units. The Browns kickoff and punting units have already started to falter without Huntington. The Browns must get creative to replace their top all-around football player.
