Draymond Green does not appear to be a huge fan of Dak Prescott.

The Dallas Cowboys fell to the previously 2-5 Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, dropping their record to 3-5-1.

Monday night was hardly Dak Prescott’s best night in what has been arguably his best year as a pro. Prescott, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, has thrown for 2,319 yards this season — the fourth-most in the NFL.

While the Cowboys’ defense has drawn much of the criticism this season, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green took it even further when he took aim at the signal caller.

Green, who has not been afraid to give his opinion on his podcast, labeled Dak Prescott a “bum” and concluded the quarterback would ultimately end his tenure in Dallas without winning a Super Bowl.

“He is getting some numbers and they stink,” Green said on an episode of the “Why is Draymond Green Talking About Football?” podcast. “Dak’s a bum … They will never win with Dak.”

As hot got pressed on his take, the Golden State Warriors star explained that the use of him using “bum” does not preclude one from being an excellent quarterback in the NFL.

“You have to understand, when I say bum, I’m not saying Dak Prescott isn’t a good NFL quarterback,” Green said.

“Of course, he’s a good NFL quarterback. But I’m saying when the money is on the line, when it’s for all the marbles, who are you? He’s a bum.”

Dak Prescott Has Not Performed Well In The Postseason

Dak Prescott has helped the Cowboys put together the NFL’s third-best offense in points per game. The team is still 3-5-1.

Despite everything he has done, Prescott’s turnover and the offensive unit’s shortcomings in the red zone on Monday night contributed to the team losing to the lowly Cardinals.

Draymond Green thinks he is a bum.

When he referred to his play as when the “money is on the line,” he is likely referring to playoff games, in which Prescott is 2-5.

Prescott has a 98.2 career passer rating in the regular season, but once the lights get bright, it goes down to 89.8 in the playoffs.

His most recent loss was a 48-32 crushing at the hands of the Green Bay Packers back in 2023, when the Cowboys game in as 7-point favorites. In order to right those wrongs, Dak and the Cowboys need to qualify for the playoffs, which is going to be hard. One of he many teams they need to defeat along the way is the NFC East-leading Eagles, the same team that saw Dak seemingly spitting at Jalen Carter.
