Justin Herbert suffered a nasty injury to his hand while playing the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, and a close-up image has surfaced online.
The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback hurt his hand after throwing a touchdown pass, though he appeared to be okay. It seems he fought through the pain to complete the drive, having grabbed his left hand shortly before.
Trey Lance replaced him under center after he went into the locker room, with cameras catching what appeared to be a nasty finger injury.

Popular sports doctor Jesse Morse suggested that there may have been a fracture, adding that his return was uncertain.
“Justin Herbert, Left hand/wrist injury, Appears to have occurred on play, Concern of a possible fracture,” he wrote. “Unclear if he is going to be able to return.”
Herbert, whose hands went viral earlier this season, did return to the game with a protective glove.
