NFL fans are loving the latest edition of an epic ‘Sunday Night Football’ player intro of San Francisco 49ers star cornerback Deommodore Lenoir.

As part of the NBC Sports ‘Sunday Night Football’ broadcast, the starters on offense and defense usually share their names and alma mater. But for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bears? Deommodore Lenoir went in another direction.

More specifically, he introduced himself as a “San Francisco hyena” instead of mentioning his own name:

And NFL fans were absolutely loving Deommodore Lenoir’s hilarious intro.

“San Francisco hyena” what,” a fan wrote.

“Lenoir really called himself the San Francisco hyena on the intro lmao,” said another.

Last year, the 49ers handed Lenoir a five-year contract extension worth a whopping $92 million. 2025 hasn’t been friendly to him, however. Per Pro Football Reference, he has already allowed a career-high five touchdowns in coverage.
