John Harbaugh has not done any official interviews yet. Even so, talk about his future keeps getting louder. Around the league, people continue to link the Super Bowl-winning coach to several top job openings.

The New York Giants are at the center of the rumors. According to The Athletic’s Ian O’Connor, Giants executive Chris Mara met informally with Harbaugh on Sunday. That meeting strengthened the belief that New York sees Harbaugh as its top choice.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk added more interest to the story. He reported that the Giants have already made an unofficial offer. The deal is said to be worth about $20 million per year. Florio wrote, “The disclosure comes at a time when rumors are swirling that the Giants have already made an unofficial offer to Harbaugh, in the range of $20 million per year.”

Even with all that going on, the Giants are not the only team involved. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Harbaugh is still having long phone calls with other teams around the league. Nothing is official yet, but those conversations show that several teams are seriously interested.

The Tennessee Titans now loom as a serious threat. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero urged teams not to overlook them.

“Don’t count out the Tennessee Titans,” Pelissero said. He also pointed out, “It’s a great place to live, they got a new stadium opening, Cam Ward played better and better down the stretch, and they got a ton of resources in terms of cap space to rebuild that roster.”

Much of the interest centers on quarterback Cam Ward. He showed real improvement late in his rookie season. He threw for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. The Titans believe he can be the foundation of a long rebuild.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic added an important detail. She reported that Harbaugh spent the weekend studying Ward’s game film. That caught attention around the league. Coaches usually do that only when they are seriously interested.

Tennessee also has strong resources. The team has plenty of cap space and plans a full reset. The front office believes the roster can improve quickly with the right coach in place.

Harbaugh’s reputation helps. He brings structure, discipline, and a history of winning. Teams know what he offers.

The Giants remain aggressive, and their reported offer shows it. The Titans, however, offer something else. They offer patience, control, and a young quarterback that Harbaugh could develop.

For now, Harbaugh is in no rush. He is listening, watching, and weighing options. Tennessee has gone from a surprise option to a serious contender, and the chase is just getting started.
