One Super Bowl Contender Is Reportedly Showing Serious Interest In Tyreek Hill, And It Would Be The Perfect Place To Revive His Career

Tyreek Hill is facing an uphill battle to return to playing following his release from the Miami Dolphins.
But one team could come to his rescue despite one NFL exec claiming that he’s radioactive.
The Dolphins have parted ways with the wide receiver amid his recovery from a devastating knee injury that wrecked his 2025 campaign. There is also a belief that he won’t have that many suitors in free agency.
Still, the New England Patriots are said to be monitoring the Pro Bowl wideout as they aim to add to their receiving core after their Super Bowl loss last month.
According to team beat writer Zach Gatsby, the Patriots are keeping an eye on the 32-year-old and could sign him on a short-term deal.
“Patriots Monitoring FA WR Tyreek Hill,” Gatsby shared via X on Monday. “New England keeping a close eye on the veteran speed demon as a potential target. Projected AAV: ~$15-18M (1-2 year deal). Big-play weapon for Drake Maye — strong fit if healthy.”
Tyreek Hill Not Worth The Squeeze, According To One NFL GM

Hill would pose a serious threat to any defense once healthy, but there are questions over whether he can produce at the same level at his age and on the back of the injury he’s rehabbing from.
As mentioned above, one exec believes he’s done.
The anonymous general manager spoke to NFL insider Jason La Canfora last month and suggested that Hill can’t move the needle anymore.
“We aren’t touching him. No chance. We think he’s done,” the GM was quoted as saying. “He isn’t a difference-maker anymore. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze. Not even as a vet-minimum guy for us.”
Whether the Pats decide to take a chance on Hill remains to be seen, but he’s also not very fond of the team, which is something to consider.
