AJ Brown Trade Rumors Are Suddenly Heating Up As Report Emerges From NFL Owners Meeting

The AJ Brown trade saga is far from over as the NFL enters April, where more moves could happen ahead of, during and after the draft.
Brown was linked with the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams before the Eagles decided they wouldn’t trade him. At least not for now. They would be better off moving Brown after June 1 for financial reasons.
It looked like the trade rumors involving the former Super Bowl champion would go quiet after the latest update, but the buzz is still there. More than that, it increased at the league’s annual meeting.

While things appear to be quiet at the moment, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel turned a lot of heads when he refused to rule out a move for Brown.
“We’ve talked about this since last January. We’re going to try to do everything we can to strengthen our roster through the draft, through free agency, multiple ways of player acquisition,” Vrabel told reporters, via ESPN. “So anything that we can continue to do to strengthen the roster, we’re going to try to do.”
Eagles reporter Jeff McLane fueled the rumors with a column on Tuesday. He noted that the trade seems inevitable at this point.
“With Les Snead confirming the Rams had trade talks, and Mike Vrabel not hiding the Pats’ interest, Brown’s exit is seemingly only a matter of when,” McLane tweeted.
PHOENIX — “The #Eagles did little to quell a growing sense from league insiders that an [A.J. Brown] trade has become more of an inevitability than an uncertainty.”
