AJ Brown’s tenure as a Philadelphia Eagle is over. He probably should not expect a warm welcome whenever he returns to Lincoln Financial Field.

The wide receiver finally secured his dream move to the New England Patriots on June 1. Fortunately for him, they only play his former team in preseason this year, and it won’t be in Philly.

Brown sat down with Maria Taylor to discuss his exit following his trade to New England.

He would admit to leaking stories to the media on purpose to create drama, which he claims should have helped motivate his teammates.

“It was done purposely to give us a push. It gives everything legs to push everyone to be better. I feel like it was okay to do,” Brown said.

“Dude was purposely creating turmoil in the media and in the locker room to force his way out. Glad he’s where he wants to be now, and hopefully he will stop being as selfish as he was in Philly,” one fan wrote under the original video.

“AJ said it himself, he took the fun out of it by making things uncomfortable and creating distractions in the media on purpose, he purposely wanted to be traded,” another fan commented.

Comments were pretty much the same on X.

“Guy won’t be trusted in locker rooms much after admitting to being the leak,” one read.

“Why would you ever admit that?” asked a fan.

“Do he think people are crazy? He leaked stories to the media to derail the team. He wanted out so he manufactured tension,” said another.

Meanwhile, a fresh rumor has outlined the real reasons relationships involving Brown broke down in Philly over the last few years.

They involve Jalen Hurts, a massage therapist, and a former teammate.

If ever confirmed, they would represent a real indictment.
