Justin Jefferson had a frustrating Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit.
The wide receiver registered just five catches for 33 yards and a touchdown as the Minnesota Vikings lost 19-15 to the Detroit Lions, ending their unbeaten start.
A clip has since surfaced on X showing Jefferson trading words with a fan near the Vikings sideline. The user posting captioned the post “Nothing good comes out of arguing with fans.”
The fan in question is heard shouting “take care of yo daughter,” and “You don’t know yo daughter,” before asking “do you know your daughter?”
Jefferson turned toward the crowd and went back at the fan, but his words aren’t as clear.
“Leave families out of trash talk. That’s classless and you know damn well he can’t do anything back,” one fan commented.

“why argue with a Lions fan when you can just wait,” another said.
“Take care of yo daughter!!” one fan posted.
“Mf needs to spray some WD40 on them vocal cords,” someone joked.

Justin Jefferson Not Yet Up To His Usual Tricks

Jefferson has not topped 100 receiving yards this season. He also missed a game against the Miami Dolphins on October 4 due to an ankle sprain.
FOX cameras showed Jefferson yelling on the sideline after a late three-and-out. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said, “I don’t fault the frustration or the competitiveness in any way, shape, or form.”
Minnesota, now 6-1, hosts the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football on November 9.
