Explosive New Bodycam Footage Of Dianna Russini Getting Pulled Over Sparks Fresh Questions About The FaceTime Call That Allegedly Saved Her From A Ticket [VIDEO]

Police bodycam footage has surfaced showing Dianna Russini’s January traffic stop in Ridgewood, New Jersey. The video totally rubbishes her viral claim that she FaceTimed an NFL coach to avoid a ticket.
The seven‑minute clip begins with Russini pulled over for texting while driving. She quickly identifies herself as an NFL reporter, telling the officer she had just broken the news of Sean McDermott’s firing in Buffalo.
From there, she goes on a litany of name‑drops. Russini claims she was on the phone with Giants coach Brian Daboll, who wants to replace McDermott. She asks the officer if he roots for the Jets or Giants. When he replies he’s a Vikings fan, she flashes her phone to show a text exchange with Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell.
At one point, she jokes, “Your quarterback sucks,” referencing J.J. McCarthy. The officer checks her documents, returns, and lets her off with a warning.
What the video doesn’t show is a FaceTime call. That detail was central to Russini’s story on the ‘Stugotz and Company’ show, where she claimed a head coach vouched for her as a “good citizen.” The footage makes clear that no such call happened.
It was obtained by Adam Herberts of ‘The Center Square’ and is shown below:

Ridgewood Police have since confirmed that the officer followed protocol in issuing a warning, as he was allowed to use his discretion.
“The use of officer discretion in determining whether to issue a warning or a citation is consistent with Ridgewood Police Department policy and longstanding practice,” Ridgewood Chief Forest Ross Lyons said in a statement.
“Police officers are encouraged to use their judgment and, when appropriate, provide motorists with warnings as part of the Department’s commitment to fair, impartial and community-oriented policing.”
With bodycam footage now out, Russini’s credibility has taken another hit in the wake of the Mike Vrabel scandal. What she insisted was a FaceTime rescue was actually just texts and name‑drops. She did avoid a ticket, but no coach ever intervened… not even Vrabel.
