Travis Kelce has turned his attention back to football after marrying Taylor Swift earlier this month. The Kansas City Chiefs star arrived in Florida to begin preparations for the 2026 NFL season, and everyone noticed the change. He wore his new gold wedding band as he walked into the team’s training facility.

Photos published by People showed Kelce wearing black camouflage Nike shorts, a matching Dri-FIT T-shirt, chunky sneakers, and ankle socks while carrying a black-and-white duffel bag. The gold ring on his left hand marked the first time fans clearly saw him wearing his wedding band during football activities.

Kelce entered training camp just months after ending speculation about his future in the NFL. In March, he confirmed he would return for his 14th season with the Chiefs rather than retire.

The tight end first showed his wedding band in public on July 10 when he and Swift attended the wedding of Chiefs teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk in Southern California. However, no photos from that appearance surfaced.

Swift previously shared details about her engagement ring during an appearance on the “Heart Breakfast Show.” She said Kelce worked closely with jeweler Kindred Lubreck to create the custom piece.

“He designed it with this amazing jeweler,” Swift said. “Kindred Lubreck is her name and she does all of her gold engraving by hand.”

Kelce now wears a matching wedding band as he begins another season with Kansas City.

The veteran tight end also spoke about his decision to keep playing during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

“Let’s go! Making another run at it, baby, and the Chiefs are making moves, Pat,” Kelce said.

He also credited Swift for supporting his decision to continue his career.

“We share the same love for what we do, and we’ve had this…desire,” Kelce said. “I’m still in love with this game.”

Kelce finished the 2025 season after the Chiefs missed the playoffs following a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. It marked Kansas City’s first postseason absence in 10 years.

Before Kelce announced his return, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that his contract is worth at least $12 million and could reach $15 million.

Kelce and Swift married at Madison Square Garden on July 3 in front of an estimated 1,000 guests.

Several guests later shared their memories of the celebration. Pat McAfee called it “the greatest night of all time” and “the most spectacular evening I’ve ever been a part of.”

Actor Eric Stonestreet also praised the event while speaking with People.

“It was awesome,” Stonestreet said. “I think my favorite moment was just that they created a place that they could have the normalcy that they deserve.”

It seems everyone really enjoyed a lot.
