His first high-profile pet is an Olde English Bulldog named Supa, a name inspired by his own football nickname, “Superman.” Williams has shared in interviews, such as with GQ Sports, that Supa brings positive energy, comfort, and “swag” to his busy life.

Caleb Williams has since expanded his pack to multiple dogs, affectionately describing his home as a big animal shelter.

A wave of online criticism has been directed toward Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams following the recent sharing of a personal photograph.

The image featured the young star alongside a newly adopted Doberman whose ears had clearly undergone a cropping procedure.

Many animal advocates and casual observers quickly labeled the surgical alteration as unnecessary and potentially harmful to the animal’s well-being. Furthermore, comments under the post accused the quarterback of supporting a form of cosmetic mutilation that serves no medical purpose.

Meanwhile, several users pointed out that the dog did not appear to be a newborn puppy, which is the typical age for such procedures. Consequently, the discussion escalated into broader conversations about the ethical treatment of pets by high-profile athletes like Caleb Williams.
