This week, Druski went viral for a satirical sketch titled “Athletes Get Concussions & LOSE THEIR MINDS.”
To begin with, the skit is a sharp, dark comedy commentary on the dangers of the NFL. It specifically tackles the terrifying reality of head injuries, concussion protocols, and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy in football.
Rather than playing it safe, Druski leans heavily into his trademark observational style to parody the erratic behavior sometimes seen in athletes who have suffered repeated brain trauma.
Comedian Portrays Fictional NFL Player
Portraying fictional running back Ray Price of the MFL League, the comedian is first seen being knocked to the ground during a play. His helmet is dislodged, as you can see him stunned on the ground.
Things quickly escalate from there, as Druski’s Price is then seen leading police on a 10-mile chase while behind the wheel of a gold Ferrari. Price is shown at home streaming on the internet, acting highly erratic, talking to an empty room, yelling at people, and dismissing his condition.
Furthermore, this acts as a direct parody of real-life instances where impaired athletes have aired their unhinged behavior publicly on social media.
The sketch concludes at a media presser where Price blankly tells reporters, “I don’t even remember… I don’t remember nothing. I just play football.”
During the 2025 NFL season, documented in-game concussions rose sharply to 168. That represented a 30% increase from the 129 concussions recorded in the 2024 campaign.
