The Denver Broncos may have won last night, but they have a major Bo Nix problem on their hands.

The Broncos quarterback struggled severely in last night’s game. Consequently, he could only muster 107 passing yards on 27 attempts. Nix finished the contest with zero touchdown passes and two sacks.

From his yardage to his QB rating, everything he put up was the worst of the season. He was lucky that Sam Darnold was playing just as badly, or this game could’ve been a blowout.

Despite the victor, Ryan Fitzpatrick was not going to let Bo Nix get off easily.

During the Prime Video postgame show, Ryan Fitzpatrick criticized Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix after his performance. Fitzpatrick felt very “frustrated” watching the young signal-caller perform on Thursday night.

He stated that “Bo Nix is not playing competitively” on the field. Furthermore, Fitzpatrick added that “it’s almost disrespectful to the quarterback position, how he’s playing football right now.”

When asked what he meant, Fitzpatrick did not hesitate. He pointed out that “the guy doesn’t want to throw the ball” to his wide receivers. Fitzpatrick noted that “he’s throwing to the flats, he’s throwing behind, but he has no trust from his coach.”

Fitzpatrick then went into an OT rant about his play. Fitzpatrick mentioned that “in overtime, he’s got two chances to be competitive,” but came up short. He added that the last opportunity was “a designed run for him to run” and get a first down. Bo Nix even failed at doing that.

Luckily, the kicker came in and knocked down the game-winner. Are the Broncos above .500 with a 4-2 record? Yes. However, not a single team is going to fear them with the way Bo Nix is playing right now.
