Tyreek Hill’s Return To Kansas City Chiefs Gets Major Update

Four years after he last played a snap for the Kansas City Chiefs, Tyreek Hill appeared close to rejoining the AFC West team. The veteran wide receiver only played four games with the Miami Dolphins in 2025, before an injury ended his campaign.
The Dolphins cut him in the offseason, ending their four-year journey together. Hill seems ready to return after a lengthy recovery, but the options might not be as open as expected. A return to Kansas City sounded like a potential option, but the latest updates say otherwise.
Chiefs Change Stance on Tyreek Hill Reunion

With Tyquan Thornton injured, the doors for a return seemed open for Hill. However, the Chiefs might not be eager to reunite with the veteran.
Jonathan Jones of The Athletic reported on Saturday that the Chiefs are in no rush to sign Hill. They have several options at the time, including the trade market before the Nov. 19 deadline.
“The health of Hill’s knee is one factor. The money will be another, as no one expects him to sign a veteran minimum deal. And then there’s the potential NFL discipline. Put those in whatever order you’d like, but nothing seems imminent,” Jones wrote.
The San Francisco 49ers sounded like a potential option for the wide receiver, but perhaps too many options can become zero in the current market.
