Fans are praising Bryce Young after cameras caught him reacting to an opponent’s injury on Sunday.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback was on the field when Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. suffered a head injury during the second quarter.
Smith went down following a collision, prompting officials to stop play while medical staff attended to him. The linebacker did not return to the game, having been ruled out with a concussion.
Young appeared to bow his head and pray for the injured defender while he lay on the turf.
“Omg it happened again. Love this kid. Immediately starts praying for the injured eagle,” one fan wrote as the caption to a video.
They also pointed to similar behavior from a game in late 2024.
