Cris Collinsworth Called Out For Suspicious Behavior After Patrick Mahomes’ Interception Against Seahawks [VIDEO]

Cris Collinsworth worked his favorite version of Sunday Night Football this week, i.e., one involving Patrick Mahomes.
The Seattle Seahawks beat the Kansas City Chiefs 20-3 on the night. Mahomes finished with 165 passing yards and one interception. Seattle improved to 4-3, while Kansas City dropped to 5-1. The Chiefs managed 213 total yards and converted 3 of 11 third downs without ever reaching the red zone.
The INT in question brought the NBC booth into focus, as Collinsworth had nothing to offer after Ty Okada picked Mahomes off in the second quarter.
“Mahomes threw a pick and Cris Collinsworth went completely silent lmaooooo,” Chat Sports commented, along with a video of the play.
Collinsworth was indeed silent.
Collinsworth Also Praised Mahomes For Recovering His Own Third-Quarter Fumble

Mahomes also fumbled the ball in the third quarter after Seahawks linebacker Derick Hall sacked him. He recovered the ball himself, which drew praise from Collinsworth, who asked which other quarterback would get up twice to go get the loose ball.
Social media took aim at that call on X.
“Cris Collinsworth is out here glazing Patrick Mahomes for going after HIS OWN fumble 😭,” one account quipped.

As noted above, the Chiefs never reached the red zone. It marked the first time that has happened to Mahomes in his NFL career.
Running back Kenneth Walker III also spoke about facing his former team before the game. He was held to 36 rushing yards on 14 carries.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, meanwhile, caught nine passes for 150 yards and a touchdown.
Kansas City visits the Denver Broncos in Week 7. Unfortunately for Collinsworth, this one won’t be an SNF matchup.
