The Kansas City Chiefs lost a tough Week 8 game today, falling 28-24 to the Denver Broncos on the road. For the first time this season, the Chiefs are not in first place in the AFC West.

They fought all the way to the end, where they had a few chances to get into the end zone. However, the Broncos’ defense did their job and kept them out. A missed fourth-quarter field goal by Harrison Butker certainly helped them.

After the game, there was one person who was quite pissed about the contest, but it wasn’t a player.

The wife of Patrick Mahomes is piping hot mad. Brittany Mahomes slammed the officiating on Instagram Stories after the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 28-24 loss to the Denver Broncos.

She lashed out at a controversial late-game false start penalty. Consequently, that flag on Jaylon Moore negated a potential go-ahead touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to Rashee Rice. That would cause the Chiefs to move back five yards.

She posted on her Instagram Stories: “You can’t tell me you call that on a game winning TD, oh wait yeah I can cause it’s us. That was the weakest call I have ever seen, you can’t tell me otherwise.”

“refs called an illegal motion on the raiders which caused the chiefs to beat them in week 4. does she feel the same about that?” one fan asked.

“Haha! Mahomes has benefited from more phantom flags than any player over the last 5 years.. Maybe sit this one out, Brittany,” a second person wrote.

“Bruh💀💀 she might actually be slow😂,” a third fan stated.

The Chiefs are now 5-2 on the season and ceding first place in the AFC West to Denver, which improved to 6-2.
