Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers actually gave some rare comments about his wife this week. Rodgers is getting ready to embark on playing his final NFL season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback made that official Wednesday at his first media appearance since signing a $25 million contract for 2026, according to ESPN. His decision came after deep conversations with head coach Mike McCarthy, general manager Omar Khan, and his wife.
It was his wife, Brittani, who helped him make this decision. Rodgers praised her during a press conference on Wednesday, where he also announced his plan to retire at the end of the 2026 season.
“I had a lot of conversations with Mike, Omar, for a while,” he told the media at the press conference. “And you know, had a lot of conversations with my wife about it, after the [NFL] draft came to the conclusion that I wanted to play, I wanted to come back.”
Playing for McCarthy again as part of the appeal for Aaron Rodgers. “I thought that was probably it for me in Pittsburgh,” he said, adding, “But when the decision was made to hire Mike, I started opening my mind back up to coming back.”
Rodgers first went public with his relationship in December 2024, revealing he was dating a woman named Brittani. By June 2025, he shared that he had secretly married “a couple months” earlier. Although social media thought he took a picture with her, we still have no clue what she looks like.
Aaron Rodgers is a Certified First Ballot Hall of Famer

Although Aaron Rodgers might not end up in the Super Bowl again, he is still going down as one of the greatest quarterbacks of his era. Rodgers has exactly one Super Bowl appearance in his career, which resulted in a victory and an MVP award.
Super Bowl XLV in 2011 was the one and only time he would experience the big game. Rodgers completed 24 of 39 passes for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns, earning the Super Bowl MVP honors.
Despite his lack of rings, it will only take one time for him to be voted into the Hall of Fame.
Going into his final season, Rodgers has completed 5,696 of 8,743 passes for 66,274 yards and 527 touchdowns. In his 16 games with the Steelers last season, he completed 327 of 498 passes for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions.
