Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett is finalist for FedEx Air player of the week

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett had an eye-popping statline on Sunday in the team’s 41-22 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. His performance earned him a spot among the finalists for the Week 11 FedEx Air Player of the Week.

What did Brissett do?

He completed 47-of-57 passes for 452 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. His 47 completions set an NFL single-game record, breaking the previous record of 45. His 452 passing yards were seventh in team history for a single game. He had two touchdown passes for the fifth consecutive game, although he did throw the two picks, giving him four turnovers in the last two games.

Who are the other finalists?

One is Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Allen had 317 yards on 21-of-30 passing. He threw three touchdowns and ran for three scores as well in a 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also threw two picks.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is the third finalist. In a 30-27 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons, Young completed 31-of-45 passes for 448 yards and three touchdowns. He did not throw an interception.
