The Cleveland Browns didn’t need long to get the worst possible injury update on star rookie running back Quinshon Judkins.

Cleveland’s best offensive player was carted off with a knee injury early in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. The injury was so gruesome-looking that CBS Sports’ broadcast refused to show the replay of Quinshon Judkins’ injury.

Unfortunately,Judkins’ injury was quickly determined to be season-ending.

Per ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi, Quinshon Judkins suffered a fractured fibula and dislocated ankle. He’ll miss the Browns’ remaining two games. It marks another frustrating dent in a season where little has gone right.

Per Pro Football Reference, Judkins had 805 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns before suffering his injury. He would have likely hit the 1,000-yard mark if not for the injury, but the focus is now on getting healthy for next season.

Cleveland fell 23-20 to the heavily-favored Bills in a sloppy affair. The game featured two Browns turnovers, 10 penalties and five sacks between the two clubs.
