There is no doubt that we live in an era where sports betting has taken over. The NFL is part of that, and its biggest event of the year, the Super Bowl, drew a lot of attention in terms of bets. Somebody bet $1 million on the Seattle Seahawks to win the big game.
Celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Drake also bet $1 million on the New England Patriots. Even Super Bowl 61 is already present in the betting market. The Los Angeles Rams entered the offseason as the biggest threat to the Seahawks in 2026.
On the other side, a situation involving Patriots superfan Mark Wahlberg has unfolded in recent hours. The Hollywood actor’s daughter reportedly influenced predictions worth $24 million ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
Mark Wahlberg’s Daughter Allegedly Told People Her Father Would Attend Super Bowl 60

Kalshi, a prediction site which recently welcomed NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo as an investor, processed over $1 billion in trades during Super Bowl 60. ESPN’s David Purdum reported on Monday that $24 million was traded on whether or not Mark Wahlberg would attend the game in Santa Clara.
That number was more than the sum of the other 31 celebrities combined. This included the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
TikTok user “theinternmason” shared a video in which he claimed a person close to Ella Wahlberg, Mark’s daughter, at Clemson University, said that her father planned to attend the game. The person and his fraternity brothers were advised to bet on it.
