Insider Reveals If Tom Brady Will Stay At FOX As Year Two Of $375M Deal Nears Its End

Tom Brady plans to stay in the broadcast booth for a long time. That message came loud and clear from inside Fox as the NFL legend nears the end of his second year on the job.
Brady signed a massive 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox almost two years ago, a move that stunned the sports world. His first season faced heavy criticism. Fans and analysts felt he was too easy on players, and some questioned his minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
His second year has been different. Brady looks more comfortable and confident on air. A recent segment where he explained throwing in windy conditions drew strong praise around the league. Many fans now believe he has taken a real step forward as a broadcaster.
Questions still remain. Some people wonder if Brady will truly stick around for all 10 years. But a top Fox insider says that doubt is misplaced and that Brady is committed for the long haul.
Fox Producer Sees Brady In Booth For The Long Run

Fox NFL producer Richie Zyontz recently shared a clear message about Tom Brady’s future in broadcasting. Speaking to Sports Business Journal, Zyontz said Fox believes Brady is in it for the long run.
“I think he’s long-term for it, for sure,” Zyontz said. “You can’t predict the future and you can foresee unforeseen events. But I would say right now he’s committed to doing this as long as he can and he’s gotten damn good at it.”
That praise matters. Zyontz runs Fox’s biggest NFL broadcasts, and his comments show the network views Brady as a key part of its future.
Not everyone agrees, though. Brady still faces criticism, mainly because of his minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. Some believe that creates a conflict with his role at Fox.
Skip Bayless brought that debate back to life earlier this month on his podcast. He strongly criticized Brady’s dual roles.
“He’s now a crucial minority owner with a majority opinion of the Raiders,” Bayless said. “And that really offended me because you can’t be a Fox broadcaster [or]commentator and do your job correctly if you’re going to choose to own a big slice of the team that’s worth $300m. It’s just ridiculous”
Bayless also questioned Brady’s on-air style. “As a broadcaster, he’s just blah,” he said. “It’s all captain obvious.”
Brady has not responded publicly to those comments. Fox has not changed its stance either. The network continues to feature him on top games.
For now, the message from Fox remains simple. Brady plans to stay. And Fox plans to keep him.
