Iowa offensive lineman Gennings Dunker is already a fan favorite following his appearance at the Combine. 

Gennings, a three-star recruit in 2021, is aiming to make the step up to the pros. And fans reckon he’s now well on his way strictly on account of his hair. 

The NFL highlighted the player’s mullet on Sunday afternoon, branding it a “thing of beauty.” 

“Iowa OL Gennings Dunker’s mullet is a thing of beauty🎨,” the league’s Twitter/X account proclaimed.

There was no shortage of comments. 

“That mullet will move him up 2-3 draft picks,” one fan predicted.

“That mullet’s carrying him to the 2nd round single-handedly💪😂,” another chimed in.

“That mullet has its own draft stock at this point😂🔥,” said a third.

“Last name = first name is crazier than the mullet,” offered a fourth.

“That’s why he’s a solid 2nd round pick. Anyone committed to that hair is a beast of a human 💪🏼,” someone predicted.

Dunker, a 6’5”, 319‑pound offensive tackle, has built a reputation as one of the more reliable linemen in the Big Ten ahead of the draft. Known for his daunting frame and physical run blocking, he’s successfully added great hair to his CV.

Analysts viewed him as a mid-round prospect heading into the Combine. However, fans now expect a team to select him in the second round.
