Beer and the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback announced their engagement on July 28, 2026. The pair first ignited romance rumors when Herbert was spotted hanging out with Madison Beer at one of her music video shoots.
The couple effectively confirmed their relationship when they were filmed kissing on the sidelines ahead of a Chargers game. Weeks later, they made high-profile appearances courtside at a Lakers game and at Dodger Stadium for the 2025 World Series.
The couple traded romantic public dedications for their birthdays. Justin Herbert posted on Instagram Stories that Beer had “changed my life forever.” Beer responded during his birthday by calling him her “dream come true.”

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert holds an overall career record of 52–46. However, he remains winless in the postseason with a 0–3 career playoff record.
While Herbert has established himself as a regular-season powerhouse, his postseason narrative has been defined by historic team collapses and offensive struggles. The Chargers famously blew a 27–0 second-quarter lead, ultimately losing 31–30 to the Jaguars in 2022.
Herbert threw for 273 yards and a touchdown, but the offense stalled entirely in the second half. Two years later, the offense struggled immensely as Herbert threw a career-playoff-high 4 interceptions in a 32–12 blowout loss to Houston.
