Sean McVay still has Puka Nacua listed as questionable for Monday Night Football against the New York Giants. The Los Angeles Rams star missed Friday and Saturday after groin soreness showed up following Thursday’s practice. Then a family comment landed on TikTok and cut through the official report.
Ivie Blake, identified as his sister-in-law, answered a fan in the comments under a Samson Nacua clip.
Someone asked if Puka was playing Monday. Blake wrote, “yeah that man’s playing.”
A follow-up asked, “Promise?” She answered, “promise.”
That is not a medical report. It is still the loudest status update the Rams have not issued themselves.

Dov Kleiman posted the screenshot Sunday, and the comment thread did more work than McVay’s Saturday briefing. Blake is the creator on the Samson clip, and she did not hedge the answer.
McVay has been far more careful.
“He’s got a little bit of soreness in that groin,” the coach said. “Whether or not he plays is to be determined.”
He also said Nacua “didn’t feel totally like himself” when trying to open up at full speed. McVay called the issue separate from the psoas problem that limited him in camp.
Adam Schefter went the other way on Sunday NFL Countdown. He said Nacua is “trending the wrong way right now” and told fantasy managers to make other plans.
Jay Glazer added that Nacua still has to convince the staff he is good to go. The Rams report lists him as questionable with a hip designation after two missed practices.
Why a Puka Nacua Decision Changes Monday Night
New York cannot afford a healthy Nacua against this secondary. Schefter laid out the cornerback damage before the Giants even left for Los Angeles.
Paulson Adebo is already on injured reserve with a knee. Deonte Banks missed Friday with a calf. Greg Newsome III was limited with a rib. Colton Hood may be starting sooner than anyone in that building wanted. Nacua led the league with 129 catches last season and added 1,715 yards. He had five grabs for 74 yards in the Melbourne opener. If he sits, Davante Adams and Matthew Stafford carry more of the route tree, with Jordan Whittington already doubtful.
The other SoFi story is Aaron Donald’s expected debut after sitting the opener. Cam Skattebo already said he will meet Donald in the hole if third-and-one shows up.
“If it is his first game, he’s got to be ready for it, just like we do,” Skattebo said.
That line only gets louder if Nacua is also out there stretching the field.
