NFL fans are in shock after a popular TikTok user found a genius hack to win a Super Bowl 60 prop bet.

The Super Bowl is a special time for sportsbooks to cash in, with countless bets being placed on the big game. Canadian rapper Drake even placed a $1 million wager on the New England Patriots to beat the Seattle Seahawks, but to no avail. The Seahawks soundly defeated the Pats 29-13, avenging their heartbreaking loss from Super Bowl 49.

Every year, sportsbooks offer a variety of prop bets for the Super Bowl. This includes the coin toss and the length of the national anthem performance. For Super Bowl 60, the over/under of Charlie Puth’s performance was 119.5 seconds.

TikTok user Caden Booth found a genius way to win easy money on the Super Bowl national anthem length prop bet. Booth parked outside Levi’s Stadium (the Super Bowl 60 venue) and listened closely to the rehearsal for the anthem.

The anthem was about 111 seconds long, so it was easy money for Booth.

Social media had a lot to say about Booth’s successful Super Bowl 60 wager:

“Bro overheard the Super Bowl anthem rehearsal from the parking lot and turned $20 into $10k while the rest of us were busy praying for the coin toss to hit tails 😭,” a fan said.

“that’s what i call good due diligence,” a user said.

“I mean good for him. They should have thought that through better lol,” another commented.

“His only mistake was posting about it,” a user stated.

“Oh my. How did they find out?” asked a fan.

“He’s living in 2050,” wrote another.

Playing chess while the other played checkers. Well done, Caden.

Super Bowl 60 Had Second-Best Audience In Big Game History

Even though the Super Bowl was hardly a nail-biter, it delivered the second-highest viewership in the big game’s history. NBC Sports announced that Super Bowl 60 averaged 124.9 million viewers, with a peak audience of 137.8 million.

That was the highest viewership peak for any U.S. program in history. The only Super Bowl with a larger audience was last year’s Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles game. That game drew 127.7 million viewers.

It’s just another reminder that the NFL remains the king of North American professional sports. The Seahawks and Patriots don’t have fanbases as big as clubs like the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers or New York Yankees, so TV ratings like that are no joke.
