Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were officially married after hosting a star-studded surprise wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, 2026.

They planned their private summer ceremony, which their friend, actor Adam Sandler, officiated. In addition, the wedding featured unconventional touches instead of a large bridal party. Taylor’s brother Austin served as man of honor, while Travis’s brother Jason served as best man.

As a result, the venue lit up its exterior screens with a playful “JUST&T MARRIED!” sign to confirm the nuptials to the public. Currently, the newlyweds are balancing married life alongside their respective high-profile careers.

Swift is reportedly facing challenges in her new marriage after her July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce. Initially, the couple enjoyed a blissful, private honeymoon period following their star-studded nuptials at Madison Square Garden.

However, their romantic quality time was quickly cut short. Consequently, that is when Travis had to report to Missouri for the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp and preseason commitments. Consequently, insiders claim that Taylor has felt frustrated because football demands work overtime and consumes the vast majority of his time.

Taylor Swift is reportedly struggling with the rapid shift in routine, missing simple everyday moments like their morning workouts and cooking.

Swift “is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time,” claiming, “It’s harder now that they are married because she wants more.”

“They have been married for almost two months, but she has not seen him a ton. She misses their morning workout sessions and cooking together,” the source shared with the Daily Mail. “They do not see each other every single day, but they see each other every single week — they are very dedicated to that.”

However, the newlyweds stay in constant communication with each other.

“They talk on the phone all the time, and text, FaceTime, all of it. He sends her flowers too when she is out of town, her favorites like roses and orchids,” the insider said. “They just deal with it. They know they both have massive careers, and they love what they do, so they give each other freedom.”

The source added that she “loves having her hunky man by her side.” Also, she added that the athlete “makes her feel not just loved, but also protected.”

Despite how she feels, Swift also “understands he is putting in the hours because he wants to be his very best this season.”
