“What A Bum!” – Drew Allar Embarrasses Himself During Steelers QB Drill In Viral Training Camp Video

Drew Allar has delivered one of the biggest bloopers of the NFL offseason with one of the most errant throws you’ll ever see.
The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie was participating in a common drill requiring him to pass into one of three pockets on a net.
While his teammates all hit a spot on the net, his pass sailed right over.
Fans immediately compared the throw to Aaron Rodgers’ signature no-look passes. Unlike Rodgers’, Allar’s attempt never threatened the target.
“Can’t say I’ve ever seen a quarterback just outright miss the net,” A Jaguars account shared as a caption. “Drew Allar, take a bow.”

Not everyone piled on, though. One fan defended Allar.

The Steelers selected Allar in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft after a standout career at Penn State. He entered training camp as a developmental quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers while competing with Will Howard for positioning on the depth chart.
Training camp clips rarely predict regular-season success. Quarterbacks experiment with mechanics and timing throughout August.
Still, an NFL QB missing an oversized practice net is not something you see every day.
