Buffalo Bills Stunned By Josh Allen’s Surprising Request

Josh Allen played great in Week 13. Even after Cam Heyward yelled a vulgar line at him, he stayed focused and helped the Bills beat the Steelers 26-7. The win gives Buffalo a boost heading into its Week 14 game against Joe Burrow and the Bengals. But Allen made news for something off the field, too.
During a visit to the University of Wyoming on Nov. 22, he watched the school retire his No. 17 jersey. The moment meant a lot to him because he built his college career there, throwing for more than 5,000 yards and 44 touchdowns.
While greeting fans before the ceremony, he spotted someone in the student section and surprised everyone with a playful request.
“You, come here, you,” Allen said as he pointed toward the crowd. “I need the biggest beer snake possible. Alright. I need the biggest beer snake possible.”
Wyoming Did Not Ignore Allen’s Request

Wyoming students came through for Josh Allen. They stacked cups until the beer snake nearly reached the length of the stands, and the clip quickly spread online. The Bills even posted the video on their TikTok with the caption, “Cheers, @University of Wyoming.”

The moment brought some fun to a tough season for Buffalo. Allen isn’t playing at his 2024 MVP level and has thrown for 2,832 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions so far. He has also dealt with a few surprising issues this year, including a punishment from the league.
Buffalo now tries to stay in the playoff race. Allen’s trip back to Wyoming showed the same confidence and personality he had in college.
Next up, Allen and the Bills host the Bengals on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
