The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly made a decision on Derrick Henry ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
The star running back has been at the center or trade talk all week and is thought to want out himself, given the team’s slide.
ESPN‘s Dan Graziano suggested that the Ravens “could find themselves fielding offers over the next week.” He also pointed out that the player’s $1.255 million base salary makes him easy to absorb.
Henry then spoke about his future after the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.
“I have not mentioned me going anywhere else,” he said. “I’m saying, ‘Let’s go back to work. Let’s try to get better and turn this thing around.’”
Adam Schefter Reports Ravens Told Henry They Will Not Trade Him

Adam Schefter reported Saturday that Henry “is not expected to be traded by the NFL trade deadline.”
Furthermore, the Ravens recently told the running back they have “no intention of trading him,” according to Schefter.
A league source told Schefter that Justice Hill was the one Ravens running back the New York Giants inquired about. Giants head coach John Harbaugh coached Hill in Baltimore, where the Ravens drafted him in 2019.
Hill has 1,495 rushing yards and 1,017 receiving yards since then. Henry has 4,205 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns in 43 games with Baltimore.
