Ex-Los Angeles Chargers Star Randomly Reveals He Played “Sh*t Face Drunk” For Half-A-Season

No one asked Quentin Jammer, yet he still had a story to tell out of nowhere.
Perhaps he felt a need to explain why he didn’t record a single interception in 2011. And if you were somehow still wondering about that with 2025 coming to a close, then look no further than his Monday-night tweet.
It’s a lot easier to confess when you’re no longer in danger of a fine. And, as such, the former Los Angeles Chargers cornerback took to X to reveal that he was as drunk as a fish for half of his team’s games in 2011.
“True story……. In 2011 I played completely s–t faced drunk in at least 8 games,” he wrote.

He then went on to offer details.
Thankfully, he’s two years sober now… like me.
Quentin Jammer Was A Troubled Man In 2011
Jammer, 46, disclosed the reason he couldn’t set aside a few hours a day during which he wouldn’t drink. As you might expect, fans had plenty of questions and would soon learn that he was going through a divorce back then, which left him worse for wear.
His drink of choice? Tequila or “good” bourbon.
The former CB said he would have “2 tequila bottles in my bag,” which is a lot of tequila for one sitting.
“Man I drank the whole game and all the way home,” he added, which suggests that his coaches were fully aware. Because how could you miss that?
Plus, he did mention that the Chargers were aware of what he was going through.
“Trust me 100% of u all would’ve done the same,” he claimed.
So is Troy Aikman going through a divorce? Because fans thought the ‘Monday Night Football’ announcer was drunk during a Chargers game, too.
Aikman was on the call alongside partner Joe Buck, calling L.A.’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles. And, according to viewers, he did not look right.
The ESPN duo even brought up the NFL’s Super Bowl “script” at one point.
So, back to Quentin Jammer.
The now-sober ex-NFLer did prompt some concern among X users, but some of the comments were definitely not welcome.

And then, he thanked everyone.

The No. 5 overall pick in 2002, Jammer spent the first 11 years with Los Angeles before ending his career with the Denver Broncos.
He played 183 games and made 21 interceptions. None of those INTs were caught in 2011.
