The NFL has addressed a recent discovery following the release of the latest round of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Emstein, a convicted sex offender who took his own life in prison, has been a subject of interest for many years. He had relationships with some of the most prominent figures in American society, including a few NFL owners.

New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch was apparently one of them.

Tisch’s name came up in multiple emails that the Department of Justice released on Friday. Conversational exchanges showed the two men discussing various women. It appeared that Epstein was scouting females for the Giants owner.

NFL Promises To Look Into Steve Tisch/Jeffrey Epstein Matter

Tisch did not deny his relationship with Epstein in his statement, branding the latter a terrible person.

“We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,” he said. “I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.”

The NFL has since broken its silence on the matter, vowing to investigate in a statement released on Monday.

“The league is aware of the reports and Steve’s response. Our office will look into the matter to understand the facts,” it reads.

It also appears that we’ve seen just a fraction of Tisch-related mentions from the Epstein Files. Reports indicate that his name appears at least 440 times across over three million documents.

Meanwhile, fans are calling for Ticsch to sell his stake in the team. Might the league force him to do so?

Time will tell.
