Things got entirely awkward when Kay Adams asked Cooper DeJean about Nikki Bella. In case you missed it, Bella seemingly confirmed her romance with the Philadelphia Eagles player after weeks of dating speculation.
The wrestling star addressed the speculation as she and her sister, Brie Bella, made their joint WWE return for the “Royal Rumble.” It just happened to be in Philly.
“Is that for the Eagles not getting in the Super Bowl or for us?” Nikki asked the crowd. “I actually think they’re saying ‘Coop,’” Brie said. Nikki cleverly added, “Can you blame a girl for having good taste? I mean, Pro Bowl, baby.” Her comments come weeks after she claimed in a subsequent podcast that she hadn’t been touched in a while.
That was all she needed to say for social media to lose its mind. Her comments would eventually reach Kay Adams.
Cooper DeJean Did Not Feel Good about Being Asked About Nikki Bella
At long last, Cooper DeJean has responded to the dating rumors. However, it is not something he actually wanted to do.
Speaking with Kay Adams on The Up and Adams Show, DeJean discussed the Eagles’ hopes of bringing back teammate Reed Blankenship. Adams then jumped in and asked, “And Nikki Bella?”
Feeling uneasy, DeJean looked around the room and sheepishly said, “Alright,” with a chuckle. “Good one,” he added. “I don’t know about that.” He then called her a “good friend.”

That is when Adams brought up what Bella said about him. The 2025 Pro Bowler played coy, asking, “Who’s she talking about?” when Adams was reading the quote. “She’s saying she’s got good taste? I mean, she could be talking about anybody,” DeJean said.
“She’s amazing at what she does; she’s been doing it for a long time,” he raved.
It still remains to be seen if the two will ever go social media official.
