The Super Bowl LX halftime show featuring Latin trap artist Bad Bunny drew immense criticism from Americans on Sunday night. President Donald Trump called it “one of the worst ever.” The rapper, who is from Puerto Rico, is known for his Spanish-language music and albums.

His Halftime special was also in Spanish from start to finish. Trump, who said he would not attend, had a lot to say about the halftime show.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” Donald Trump said.

“It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This “Show” is just a “slap in the face” to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he said in a post on his Truth Social platform.

Bad Bunny performed at Super Bowl LX soon after taking home a Grammy award last week for album of the year. He previously said fans had four months to learn Spanish before his performance. He was correct.

Earlier, it was announced that Turning Point USA would host an alternative halftime show for those who did not want to tune in for the Bad Bunny performance. Their show drew a large audience, featuring Kid Rock, a Trump ally, as the performer.
