Joe Burrow got enough attention on Friday night at a Super Bowl party in San Francisco. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was seen spending time with model and influencer Sophie Julia, which quickly created hype on social media.
Burrow attended the event hosted by wellness clothing brand Alo ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl. The party featured a pop-up version of the popular New York restaurant Crane Club. Burrow and Julia posed for photos together, and Julia later shared one on her Instagram story with her 96,000 followers. She captioned it, “Your supper club hosts.”
Burrow has stayed quiet about his personal life recently. Over the past year, he has been linked to Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton. However, neither Burrow nor Ponton has confirmed any relationship publicly.
At the Alo event, Burrow wore a black jacket from the brand and held a drink while standing next to Julia. The 37-year-old influencer works as a hospitality manager for Alo. She is also known for organizing private dining events for celebrities through her supper club experiences. Burrow looked relaxed while posing for photos.
The next day, both Burrow and Julia attended Michael Rubin’s Fanatics party in San Francisco. It is unclear if they arrived together. Ponton was also at the event but walked the red carpet with a friend instead of Burrow.
Questions Surround Burrow’s Personal Life
Burrow usually keeps his relationships private. In December, someone broke into his Ohio home while he was playing an away game against the Dallas Cowboys. Olivia Ponton called the police after she discovered the break-in. That incident first brought proper public attention to rumors about them being linked.
Before that, Burrow was in a long relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher. Fans noticed they stopped appearing on each other’s social media in early 2024. Since then, Burrow has avoided talking about his dating life.

Julia also has connections in celebrity circles. She briefly dated Romeo Beckham, the son of soccer star David Beckham, in 2024. The two were spotted together in London after a night out. Julia is also friends with several well-known personalities, including Morgan Riddle, DJ Xandra Pohl, and Jena Sims.
Burrow hinted at personal challenges late last season without offering details. After a loss to the Buffalo Bills, a reporter asked if something weighed on his mind. “There’s a lot of things going on right now,” Burrow said. When pressed further, he added, “All the above.”
For now, Burrow keeps the focus on football and business partnerships. And he being spotted at the Alo party suggested a possible new brand deal.
