NFL insider Albert Breer gave an update on the Maxx Crosby trade situation during a recent interview.

The Las Vegas Raiders will be an exciting team to watch this offseason. They have plenty of cap space and the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to help kickstart their rebuild. The Raiders have also remained in the headlines due to persistent rumors of a possible Maxx Crosby trade.

Things have not gone well for both sides ever since they shut him down during the 2025 season. Crosby left the building, and trade rumors have followed ever since.

As the Maxx Crosby saga enters another week, we now have some clarity on which teams are interested.

Multiple Teams Named In Maxx Crosby Trade Scenario

According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, there are seven teams “keeping tabs” on Crosby. The list includes the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Rams.

“We should know soon enough which path the Raiders are taking, with teams like Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, Buffalo, New England, Philadelphia, and the Rams keeping tabs on his availability,” Breer reported.

The insider stated that one of those teams could make a move soon. Breer says he’s “leaning toward” Crosby being traded and thinks it could happen as soon as this week.

Bleacher Report predicted that the Raiders could trade Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens. In return, they receive WR Rashod Bateman, a 2026 1st-round pick, and a 2027 1st-round pick.

The idea of trading for Crosby really comes down to whether you believe you’re ready to contend next year. At 28 years old, the window to win with Crosby starts in 2026.
