Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have not publicly confirmed a wedding date, but widely circulated rumors state it might be this year. Reports indicate the nuptials or the massive celebration will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

As with any relationship, it has its ups and downs.

Throughout the past month, Swift has been seen everywhere, from a Toy Story premiere to appearing courtside to cheer on the Knicks. This time, the “Love Story” singer was accompanied by friends, and not Kelce.

While Swifties love seeing more of the star pop singer, they have also wondered why Travis Kelce has been missing in action.

Travis Kelce is Working & Struggling

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was not seen with Taylor Swift during her Toy Story premiere and courtside with the Knicks. She had previously attended a game alongside him as he cheered on the Cavaliers.

He has been missing due to the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp, which, per ESPN, kicked off on June 9 and concluded on Thursday, June 11.

Despite that, there is another thing that Kelce has still not gotten used to. He’s still struggling to adjust to the increased security constantly surrounding the pop star.

“Taylor’s life operates like a military operation,” one insider told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice. There are armored SUVs, armed guards, advance teams, private entrances, constant surveillance. Travis respects why it’s necessary, but it’s still shocking to him sometimes.”

Travis Kelce can be wild at times, but he also has a laid-back personality. He also loves being spontaneous, which can be hard with so many eyes on him and Swift.

“Travis is happiest when life feels normal,” a separate source told Shuter. “He loves random nights out, changing plans last minute, calling friends on the fly. With Taylor, every movement has to be coordinated in advance.”

However, sources claim that Kelce “accepts the restrictions” because he knows his future wife’s safety is the top priority. “He hates the limitations,” one person noted. “But he loves Taylor more than he hates any of it.”
