Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are keeping things simple when it comes to gifts for their upcoming wedding.
As excitement builds around one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings in recent years, the couple reportedly has one clear rule for guests: do not bring gifts. While many wedding guests may follow that request without question, one invited guest already plans to bend the rule.
Speaking with ExtraTV, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle shared that he received an invitation to the wedding. Kittle said he found the no-gifts policy a little unusual and admitted he may not fully stick to it.
“I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, really likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin,” Kittle said. “Sounds expensive, too.”
The comment offered a lighthearted look at the preparations surrounding the highly anticipated wedding of Swift and Kelce.
Wedding Preparations Are In Full Swing

Kittle recently got people talking after revealing the rule. Even so, he might break the rule too.
At the same time, new details about the couple’s circle of friends have started to emerge. Some reports claimed that Swift’s relationship with actor Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, may have cooled in recent years. Other reports suggested that Swift and Kelce have been focusing more on their relationship, which has affected some friendships.

More recently, a report claimed that Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez could serve as bridesmaids, and that actress Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds are expected to miss the wedding.
Entertainment reporter Rob Shuter reported that Lively and Reynolds were not invited. According to the report, Lively’s ongoing legal issues played a role in that decision.
One source reportedly told Shuter, “Taylor wants zero drama. Sadly, that means Blake’s out.”
Swift and Kelce have not publicly confirmed any wedding details. Still, several reports suggest celebrations could take place in early July. Some rumors have pointed to July 3 and linked the event to New York City and even Madison Square Garden.
Reports have also mentioned hotel bookings, permit filings, and other planning activity as signs that preparations are underway. Neither Swift nor Kelce has commented on those reports.
The couple began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in August last year. Since then, fans and media outlets have closely followed every development in their relationship.
Reports suggest the guest list could include several big names from sports and entertainment. Some also claim the couple may hold a private ceremony before a larger celebration.
No matter how they choose to celebrate, their wedding is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about celebrity events in recent years.
