Chris Berman is a foundational and iconic ESPN sportscaster who joined the network in 1979. He won six National Sportscaster of the Year awards, earned 10 Emmy Awards, and received the Pro Football Hall of Fame Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award.
He hosted Sunday NFL Countdown for more than 30 consecutive seasons. Berman also co-hosted NFL PrimeTime alongside Tom Jackson, establishing a record-setting cable studio program. Chris Berman is not an inductee as a player or coach in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
However, he received the prestigious Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Hall in 2010.
