Madison Beer Is Being Target With Nasty Criticism From NFL Fans

Madison Beer has stayed visible throughout the Los Angeles Chargers’ difficult 2026 season. The singer and Justin Herbert’s fiancée attended games and appeared in multiple viral clips from training camp and the stands. Herbert and the Chargers entered the year with high expectations under Jim Harbaugh, yet the team has struggled to find any rhythm on offense.
Herbert has dealt with turnovers and inconsistent accuracy across the first five weeks. On Sunday, the Chargers led 17-10 in the third quarter against the Denver Broncos before the offense went scoreless in the fourth. Herbert finished with 121 yards, one touchdown, two fumbles and an interception in the 23-17 loss.
Viral Training Camp Clip Resurfaces Amid Losing Streak

After a brutal collapse against their division rivals, Herbert found himself under fire. His third season with Jim Harbaugh, and first with Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator, hasn’t gone as planned.
The Chargers entered the competition as a playoff contender and now are competing for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2027 draft with the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins.
Fans had a lot to say about the terrible start to the season and Beer received plenty of criticism in the process.
“Is Madison Beer the new Kardashian Curse because the Chargers are officially 0-5,” one fan posted.
“Blame Madison Beer. Seriously. He was good before the engagement. Yoko Ono,” another user wrote.
“The Madison Beer Curse!!! Video Vixen,” a third commenter declared.
“Madison beer was the worst thing to happen to him. Stopped spending his free time watching film and preparing and is instead playing touch b**t in the park with his gf,” a fourth fan wrote.
Herbert And Chargers Face Growing Scrutiny From Outside

Former NFL safety T.J. Ward previously claimed Beer was a distraction and suggested she might leave if success does not follow.
A Seahawks fan also heckled Herbert near the tunnel during an earlier loss, yelling that he was “just as bad as your girl.”
Herbert has taken responsibility after several losses and said the offense needs to score more points. The Chargers next travel to face the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. Beer and Herbert announced their engagement in late July after dating for roughly a year, and she has supported him at multiple home games this season.
