A viral exchange between Dr. Jesse Morse and Christian Watson’s father has resurfaced following his “retirement” announcement.

Morse posted on Monday that he no longer wanted to spend most of his free time discussing injuries. He pointed to stress, headaches, negative publicity and online hate as reasons for the decision.

“My reputation is not worth it. I get so much hate. It’s just not worth it anymore,” he wrote. “It’s been a good run. I started in 2017, but I’m tired and I need to put my energy into more productive things.”

Morse outlined a new direction for his account, which includes health education, wellness, peptide medicine, regenerative medicine and health optimization.

An argument with Watson’s dad is trending online again in light of the above.

The exchange dates back two years, when Morse claimed Watson had suffered a high ankle sprain. The player’s father, Tazim Wajed, clarified it was a medial sprain.

Morse pushed back, claiming he’d watched footage of the injury. Wajed pointed out that watching a video was hardly as determining as official scans and diagnoses.

Morse explained that he had mistaken Wajed for a troll rather than the receiver’s father after fans began calling him out.

“I assumed you were a troll and a generalized Packers fan trying to debate with me,” he wrote after realizing who he was speaking to.

“I didn’t know it was his father. Some random twitter person commented that he had a medial ankle sprain. I’m like ok. Everyone was expecting like I knew who he was,” he said in another post.

He later suggested that it was karma when Watson tore his ACL several months later in a supposedly deleted tweet.

Morse’s latest post says he wants to focus on more productive work, specifically on a peptide called Peptavo.
