The 2026 NFL trade deadline draws closer, and rumors continue to emerge. Jonathan Taylor remains the hottest name in trade rumors. Besides the Indianapolis Colts star, other players could start the second half of the season on different teams.

Adam Schefter mentioned five players to watch ahead of the deadline last week. Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, both with the Indianapolis Colts, joined the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers, respectively, via trade.

This week, five more names emerged nine days before the deadline strikes.

On Saturday, Schefter reported that the New York Jets would not trade wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who was heavily linked with the 49ers. On Sunday morning, he named five receivers who could be on the move.

“Other wide receiver names continue to come up in connection to the trade deadline: Jacksonville’s Brian Thomas Jr., Indianapolis’ Josh Downs, Minnesota’s Jauan Jennings, Cleveland’s Jerry Jeudy, Tennessee’s Calvin Ridley.”

Thomas has been linked with a move away for a couple of seasons now. The Jaguars haven’t shown willingness to move him, but they could change their mind soon.
