The Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens have a Monday night date on November 16 that fans would like to see scrapped.

ESPN will air the Week 10 game from M&T Bank Stadium as part of its Monday Night Football lineup with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

However, neither team is in great shape right now.

Los Angeles is 0-7 and remains the NFL’s only winless team after a 24-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Justin Herbert has also thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this season.

The Ravens are 4-4 after three straight losses.

The Chargers’ slide started early. One player went off on his coaches in a scathing leaked text after the team’s fourth loss.

Baltimore has its own quarterback problem. Lamar Jackson needs thumb surgery and will go on injured reserve. Coach Jesse Minter did not rule out a lost season. “Potentially, but we’ll see where it’s at,” he said after a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Backup Tyler Huntley also left Sunday’s loss, forcing the team to add another quarterback.

As such, fans aren’t looking forward to the Week 10 meeting.

“Can this be flexed to gas station pump screens instead?” one person asked.

“Send it to Nickelodeon,” another suggested.

“Should be flexed to National Geographic,” someone else joked.

“That’ll free up a Monday night,” another fan confessed.

“This is the kind of game that should be on at 9:30AM,” someone remarked.

The NFL probably wishes it could flex out of this game, but it can’t.

According to the NFL’s flexible scheduling procedures, Monday night games can move only in Weeks 12 through 17. The league adds that it will “decide and announce no later than 12 days in advance of the game.”

Chargers-Ravens falls in Week 10, so it stays on ESPN.

These teams have drawn plenty of eyes in the past. ESPN noted that the Ravens-Chargers Monday night game averaged 17.4 million viewers across its platforms back in 2024. It’s safe to assume viewership won’t get close this time around.
