Brian Thomas Jr. has been a recurrent topic around the NFL since the offseason. After an underwhelming sophomore campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the third-year wide receiver’s future with the team remains unclear.
In August, the Jaguars reportedly turned down two “significant” trade offers for the wide receiver who posted 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie.
He was linked with the Pittsburgh Steelers in September, adding to a saga that doesn’t seem close to an end. Thomas is still young, but he hasn’t found his footing in Jacksonville. His name once again came up in trade rumors.
Brian Thomas Jr. Could Be On The Move Next, Per ESPN Insider

On Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano discussed who could be the next star wide receiver to get traded after the Arizona Cardinals shipped Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans. Graziano went with Thomas, but clarified that the Jaguars have shown no intentions of moving on from him.
“Jacksonville’s Brian Thomas Jr. is a name teams get most excited about; but so far, the Jaguars have not indicated a desire to trade him,” Graziano wrote. “He seems to have fallen behind both Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers in the Jaguars’ wide receiver pecking order, which is one reason teams are interested in finding out if he’s available. It’s a logical thought: Thomas is a former first-round pick and a top talent who might fit better in a different offense, similar to Houston’s thinking on Harrison.”
He added that, after Thomas, the next name could be the Browns’ Jerry Jeudy, especially after rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion started showing strong production.
Thomas has played five games this season, recording nine receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown. He might have a strong market, but the final word still belongs to the JAGS.
